It is the same price (if you shop around), size, appearance, and functionality except it has several design improvements over the "Super" Brella. For example, the Super-Brella uses a friction lever to hold the lower umbrella pole inside the main umbrella shaft. Mine was defective upon arrival and the lower pole would just slide out. I could have fixed it by drilling a hole through the two poles and using a linch pin, but I happened upon the Sports-Brella at a local big box home improvement store and after purchasing it and bringing home, decided to keep it and return the Super-Brella. The Sports-Brella is a much better designed umbrella. For starters, it uses a thumb-screw system which is much less likely to fail than the plastic friction mechanism. The stake holder does not work properly and it was a flop. We threw this umbrella away and purchased a new one at Sam's Club and it works WONDERFULLY!
