The driver is engineered for maximum distance and power, helping you make short work of par 4s and 5s. The middle distances are covered by the fairway 3-wood and 3-hybrid. The 3-wood includes a graphite shaft and a low-profile 15-degree head to create better shots from the fairway and rough. The long arrow along the top of it helps in aiming your shots, and the 2 cutout sections make a great ball retriever when your balls rolls into a stream or pond within easy reach. I'm a new golfer, so I think they will fit my needs pretty well into the near future. They look pretty decent and anyone that is as amateur as you are will surely have no clue that "Pinemeadow" is anything but the finest. I took them into my back yard and tried them out a bit with some plastic practice balls and they seem to be decent enough for the occasional golfer. This set seemed to be about the best set you can get for less than $200. I like my irons and you get a 4 iron with this unlike many other starter sets that only come with 5-PW. The bag has a little pocket that is lined with a soft microfiber material for "valuables" that you might want to put in there to protect. The strap on the bag seems to be designed to wear the bag like a backpack. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but it seems like that is what they are going for.
